When Telha asks you

Everyday use

Now and then Telha will ask you a question instead of the other way around. It has met a fact it cannot pin down for certain, and it needs a person who knows to confirm it. Answering takes one tap, and it makes your company's memory more correct for everyone.

Why Telha asks

When Telha reads a document, it sometimes finds something ambiguous: a date that says "next quarter", two figures that disagree, an undated scan. Rather than guess silently, Telha makes its best guess at lower confidence, marks the fact as pending, and asks the right person to confirm it.

It works out who to ask from the information itself (the author, the person named, the owner), and it checks that you are allowed to see the underlying document before it ever sends you anything.

What happens when you answer

  • One tap settles it. Your answer is recorded as part of the record, under your verified work identity, not just a chat name.
  • Telha corrects itself from that point on, and any answer that was waiting on this fact updates automatically.
  • Important facts ask twice. For high-stakes items, Telha asks a second person to confirm before treating it as settled.
  • Disagreements go to a steward. If people answer differently, a steward decides, and every answer stays on record.

You are never asked to confirm something you are not allowed to see, and you can always say "this isn't right" to send it back.
